Imani Farm FAQ
Welcome to the Imani Farm webpage. The farm is located about 20 miles north of Montgomery, Alabama, right off Interstate 65. We breed and raise show-quality, registered Nubian dairy goats. Our breeding goal is to produce animals with correct conformation and breed character, capacious mammaries that show and milk well, and have pleasant dispositions. The herd has tested CAE negative for years and is also abscess and TB free. Our kids are raised on heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized goat milk. We try to attend all births and the kids are bottle-raised in a separate area from their dams. Our kids feed on free-choice high quality goat feed, grass hay and Sweetlix mineral blocks. They are raised on a coccidiosis prevention program and are vaccinated against tetanus, e-coli and enterotoxemia C&D. The kids are weaned between 2-3months of age.
We hope you'll
browse our site and take a look at our beautiful animals. Please feel free
to call or email us if you have questions or if you would like
additional information. A visit to the farm can be arranged, but please call in
advance.
